Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly lightweight The shoes are nice quality, laces feel strong, materials are nicely assembled. The only thing that's a little weird with these is that the tongue bulges out a bit in the middle. Other than that they are super comfortable and light. The insert they come with has pretty nice padding. I can't speak to how they hold up against water yet, the bottom doesn't look like it will have aggressive traction but I'm treating this as an everyday walking shoe. As far as sizing I chose my typical size despite the size chart. To me, the sizing feels similar to a Nike shoes, at least in my size. The 9.5 worked well for me. My measurement is 27.5 cm and I do have a slightly narrower foot as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Measured my foot, shoes still didn't fit I bought these shoes and saw they had a sizing chart. I took out a ruler and measured my foot and bought the corresponding boots. When I received them I thought they looked great. But the size was wrong. The shoe was larger than needed, and was very narrow. I wanted to return the boots for a smaller size, but realized that if these felt narrow a smaller size boot would feel even worse. So I simply returned them. The return cost me $10 from the company and that cost to ship it back, but the process was really smooth. I am bummed these didn't work out, because I thought they were a great looking boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot for everyday use I've been searching for a leather boot that's skates the line between casual and dressy for a while now. They either come across as a hiking or very rugged boot, or slim very dressy boot. These Phil Mid's are the perfect balance, they are stylish enough to dress up with but also casual enough to wear around on the weekends. These are extremely comfortable and I've been loving them so far. A note about the fit. They seem very true to size but they do feel a little narrow, I have wider feet so they are a bit snug at the toe box. Not terribly uncomfortable but just a little snug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoes, but the sizing is off for wide feet. I ordered a pair of Phil Mids size 9 online, without having an opportunity to try them on. I loved the looks and quality of those, but the sizing was a bit off for my wide feet. I regularly wear size 9, however Phil Mids size 9 were too long for my feet yet too narrow on the toe cap side. I guess size 8.5 would fit fine if they were just a bit wider on the front. I had to return them and will be ordering a different model instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just a good shoe I got these on christmas. Gotta say, very impressed. Ive gotten many compliments on them already, which I was not expecting. I can tell they are very nice quality by the way they feel. I can also attest to their waterproof-ness. I recently went out and inspected a property that was covered in 2-4 inches of water all around, and while walking in it no water entered the shoe. The material seems to have a slight hydrophobic property as well, water rolls off the surface. Overall, great shoe, great style, actually waterproof, and surprisingly comfortable straight out of the box. Great Job yall!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking boot, not wide enough. I should have believed everyone that said it wasn't wide enough. It is a very narrow boot. Don't let the good looks override your intelligence, if you have wide feet, don't risk it. Even if your feet aren't that wide but you have had issues before, then I would caution you still. Plus they nail you with a $10 restocking fee for returns so that just adds more annoyance to the whole process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Two issues but otherwise a fine shoe The toe area is TINY. I have very narrow feet and my toes are squished together in these shoes. The length is fine they just are very narrow. Second (and larger) issue is the sole. These are pictured with the model wearing them with snow around. BEWARE these have ZERO traction in snow. I might as well have been wearing ice skates, it was comical. Otherwise, I do enjoy the shoes. Just don’t understand the peak-pavement sole... seems to me they are not good for much more than pavement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Work/Dress Shoe I bought these Phil Mids in Black 6 months ago as a work shoe and have absolutely loved them. They're well made, durable, and classy for restaurant work, with the added benefit of being waterproof for the inevitable drops and spills and snowy walks to the truck during winters. Comfort is also a must when you're on your feet hustling for 6-8 hours, and these deliver.
