Great customer service
Got these shoes a month ago, and after a 10-mile hike in the White Mtns., the front toe-cap began to peel just slightly. I emailed the customer service folks, explained the issue, and they promptly shipped me another pair at no cost. Super understanding and quick. As for the shoe itself, the grip on this bad boy is insane - did a great job coming down the mountain on wet granite boulders. As a low top, this is a great all around town shoe that translates to the trail in a heartbeat. Really comfortable right out of the box, hardly any time needed to break it in.

A little clunky
For reference, I'm a woman with large feet (size 12) so I sized out of the women's shoes that only go to 11. I loved the concept and wanted to try a men's pair and these seemed like the most gender neutral option.
The base of the heel was very wide and the toe box was square. I usually have no problem wearing men's sneakers (I wear men's Brooks, Nike, and Adidas without this issue). I was thinking these would be like OnClouds. But they are much wider and heavier.
I returned these.
However, if you are a guy and don't mind the chunkier fit, they could be great! I can't speak to their durability or waterproof ability.

So comfortable, I wept
Ok, maybe I did not cry per se, but dang, these rock. I hike a lot and have done so in boots my girlfriend calls my "Sir Edmunds" #rude. She convinced me to try a hiking shoe and turned me on to Forsake. Which is a relief because apparently all REI sells are what my kids call "total dad shoes". We tested these bad boys out on consecutive weekend hikes of 16.5 miles and nine miles. Mountain terrain including river crossings and rock scrambling. Blisters? zero. Wet feet after ankle deep water? Nope - dry. The soles gripped the rocks like sticky tape and at the end of the day my feet felt great. At the price point of $100 these are a great value and you should get them....even if you are a dad.

Perfect Fit - great customer service.
I purchased a pair and they were too big (big so good looking) and the pair I replaced it with was too small. BUT - I tried them, I wanted em so bad, but they were too small. So I went in between. I now have the best looking sneakers and Forsake had incredible customer service to get me 3 different sizes no problem. I can confidently say that I have worn these for about 3 weeks and I have not worn them out without a compliment or asking me where they are from

Great for traveling
Love these shoes. Brought them on a recent trip and saved a ton of space since they were he only shoes I needed. All day hikes (check), walking around town (check), waiting for a bus in the rain (check), relaxing on the hotel balcony (check). I never realized how much I would appreciate waterproof shoes that aren’t the size of winter boots. Just love the versatility and they fit and feel great.

Sole is peeling off of shoe after 1 month :(
These are not as good as other Forsakes. I have 3 pairs of Forsake shoes. I bought the second two pairs after the first pair blew me away for quality, durability & style. These are much worse, they're already falling apart and showing a lot of wear after 1 month of light use. The leather doesn't seem very durable and the sole is already peeling away. These are not going to last.
I used to be a huge proponent of Forsakes but either these are the exception or your quality has completely slipped.

First Try
I had tried on a pair of Forsake shoes a couple years ago and never pulled the trigger until recently. I was hiking and walking a lot and wanted something that had good fit, tread and cushioning. The Range Low has met all three requirements. In addition, I needed something with ample room in the toe box. I do not consider myself to have wide feet, however, I have very limited mobility in my right foot big toe, aka Hallux Rigidus. I took my time breaking into the shoes wearing them around inside home before venturing outside. Just a process in the event the shoe was not going to work for me. So far so good, I'm very please with he Range and considering another shoe from the line-up to throw into the mix for daily wear and comfort.

Fantastic Shoe
I am a farmer, hiker, and all around outdoorsmen and I was looking for a comfy shoe to satisfy all those needs and this is it!! My feet are always comfortable and dry. Trust me I put these shoes through the test too being a farmer in New England. 10/10 would recommend.
